The Rock Youth Club
The Rock Youth Club (TRY) is inviting young rockers from the age of 12 to 17 to be part of the first inaugural program based in Long Beach California.
We are looking for singers, guitarist, bass guitarist, drummers and keyboard players.
Starting in the month of July 2008, we are offering (FIVE ONLY) one week intensive music workshop, class and practice sessions with the finale of you playing on stage in front of a live audience to family and friends at a cool venue here in Long Beach. More details . . .
Do you:
- Have at least three years of playing an instrument and or sing?
- Can you play basic chords and can read basic music?
- Fit the age category of 12 to 17 years?
What does The Rock Youth Club provide:
- All musical equipment is provided.
- Your band members for you to perform with (same ages).
- Your instructors and rehearsal studio.
- Your finale concert on a Saturday Rock Brunch in a venue here in Long Beach.
- Daily lunches and all the refreshments you need.
- The Rock Club merchandise.
Location:
- Westminster Studio / an actual rehearsal recording studio (get out of the classroom)
Cost:
- A one off fee of $479.00 for YMCA members (non members $489.00)
Dates:
Each Program runs from Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm daily, with the concert on Saturday from 12 to 5pm (dates may be extended due to high demand).
